Portugal and Mozambique committed themselves today to deepening cooperation in the area of ​​Energy, creating a new instrument to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing in the sectors of natural gas and renewable energy and the training of Mozambican labor.

The final declaration of the IV Bilateral Summit between Portugal and Mozambique links the heads of government of the two countries with a memorandum of understanding to encourage collaboration “in programs and activities in the area of ​​energy, including regulation of the Mozambican electricity network code, technical training, sharing of knowledge and experience in natural gas matters and enhancing energy efficiency and promoting renewable energy. ”
