Production Siemens is energy partner for Cervejas de Moçambique’s new factory

Siemens was the company chosen by Cervejas de Moçambique (CDM) to carry out the entire medium and low voltage power distribution project for the new brewery located in Marracuene, Maputo province.

The facility will have a production capacity of 200 million liters of beer per year, developed from cassava and maize, and will produce Mozambican brands such as 2M and Laurentina, as well as international beers such as Budweiser.

CDM, a subsidiary of AB-InBev, the world’s largest brewer group, will open this factory in the second half of 2019. Siemens’ intervention, coordinated by a Mozambican and Portuguese engineering team, includes supply, installation and commissioning. medium and low voltage electrical panels (produced at the Corroios Factory in Portugal), transformers and command and control systems.
